This article allows resellers to configure supervision groups in a Cloud PBX.
Configuration operations of supervision groups are performed from the group supervision management window of the company: see: Accessing the supervision group management window.
One or several supervision groups can be configured for the company: see: Creating a supervision group.
Each supervision group includes:
- One or several supervisors: they must be granted a Voice Attendant Custom license to use the attendant console: see: Configure attendant consoles
- The company members to supervise
From attendant console, a supervisor can:
- Monitor the state of supervised members (presence and phone activity)
- Manage calls for supervised members (call pickup and call transfer)
Accessing the supervision group management window
- From the Rainbow administration interface, click on Customer companies at the bottom of the left panel.
- In the customer list, click on the name of the customer company associated to the target Cloud PBX.
- In the left panel, click on Communication.
- In the right part of the window, click on the Supervision tab.
Creating a supervision group

- From the supervision group management window, click on Create.
- Enter the name of the supervision group, and a description, if needed.
- Click on Create.
- Add the supervisors one by one in the corresponding field: enter the first letters of their name or email address and select them in the list of matching entries.
Note: Click Later to quit the page and create the group without any supervisor or supervised member. You will be able to add member later: Modifying a supervision group.
- Click on Add.

- Click on Add.
The supervision group is created and displayed in the group list.
Modifying a supervision group
- From the supervision group management window, click on the target supervision group.
- In the Information tab, modify its name, if needed.
- To configure members, click on the corresponding tab (Supervisors or Supervisees), and perform any of the following:
- To add members: enter the first letters of their name or email address in the corresponding field and select your choice in the list of matching entries.
- To remove a member: move your mouse over the target member, click on , and select Remove member.
- Click on Update.
Deleting a supervision group
- From the supervision group management window, move your mouse over the target supervision group, click on , and select Remove group.
- Click on Remove.
The supervision group is deleted from the group list.
