Set Supervision on OXE sets
Rainbow Hub and Rainbow Hybrid offer some additional features to the Communication systems that expand the offered facilities from on site to every where you go.
However we see that in contrast to other SIP based cloud solutions it lacks a elementary feature called Supervision.
where the OXO and OXE offer good options for (Set) Supervision it is missing in the Rainbow environment.
This can be basic choices due to resources or funding but it is a lack of features if it should not be considered to implement it and it wil cost (new) customers if this question can only be answered with no.
Other cloud based solutions like Broadsoft offer these features based on basic SIP protocol almost without any limit, where we must say no to (new) customers.
Customers coming from an OXO/OXE system and combining these systems with Rainbow see that a supervisor is missing call information of a supervised set where it is
a common facility in the on Premise world.
The lack of not seeing the calling number is annoyance number 1, where this is the most used supervision feature in the on Premise systems.
Please consider to implement this feature in the near future to be able to grow in this market.

Hi Carlo,
Using Rainbow hub currently we have supervising group feature only for cloud PBX users:
https://support.openrainbow.com/hc/en-us/articles/4428074878098-Configure-supervision-groups
Currently, supervision is not supported with Rainbow Hybrid PBX OXO/OXE.
However, we will take it point into consideration. If this feature needs to be implemented we can see in future Rainbow releases.
Thank you for the suggestion.
Regards
Ajith (Customer care team)

Good day,
I totally agree with Carlo, I have a client who wants to move from physical sets to pure Rainbow architecture, and one of the main setbacks was the set supervision display clarity on Rainbow, to differentiate between a direct call and a supervised call which is not valid for now.
thank you for your understanding,
Bachir.
