Could Someone Give me Advice on How to Integrate the OpenRainbow API into an Existing CRM System?

I hope you are doing well. My current project involves integrating our current customer relationship management system with the open rainbow API. By using open rainbow extensive feature set; we hope to improve our ability to communicate with customers and expedite their interactions.
Background of the Project For the past few years; we have supported our sales and customer service teams by managing customer data and tracking interactions through a CRM system. In order to facilitate real time communication within the CRM interface; we have made the choice to incorporate OpenRainbow. It is expected that this integration would increase team productivity and give our clients a smooth communication experience.
Current Set up: developed with a PHP and MySQL combo. enterprise level; with permissions to access APIs. MySQL 5.7; PHP 7.4; and windows server.

Challenges Came Across: Even though I have set up basic authentication and successfully obtained the API information; I sometimes experience problems with authentication failing; which causes connectivity concerns. It has turned out to be more difficult than expected to connect the open rainbow messaging and calling functions into the CRM system. The video calling feature is where I am having the most trouble. providing precise and consistent synchronisation of contact information between open rainbow and the CRM. I am running a few variations in the data; particular with the custom fields.
- Exist any best practices to provide reliable and consistent API authentication? I would be grateful for any advice on managing token expiry and expiration.
- Could someone who succeeded in installing open rainbow communication tools into a unique CRM or other comparable system share their approach and sample code; particularly for video calling?
- It would be quite beneficial to have advice on how to manage the transfer of information between two systems; with custom fields.
