Notification features for urgent messages
In addition to my previous post about the buttons:
When Rainbow is used as an output for alarm messages (e.g. from OTNS or IQ Messenger), there usually is a certain urgency in getting the message to the desired user(s) and get a response from them.
Therefore, it would be useful if a message with a high(er) urgency has a different notification in the Rainbow client, for instance a louder, longer or configurable ringtone and/or a popup feature to demand attention. The urgency should be set by the sender / message broker.
Another possibility could be to assign different ringtones and notifications per bubble. With this you can assign several bubbles for different purposes. When the rainbow users receives a message in a certain bubble he can react on the sound if it’s coming from a certain group.

This is a feature that's built into Microsoft Teams. With the introduction of the Visual Notification Assistant application, this is a mandatory and essential feature for the Rainbow App. How soon before the urgent and important sending options will be a standard feature within Rainbow? I believe Rainbow needs to add the Delivery Options to sending messages. If users or applications integrated with Rainbow, options to prioritise the messages are essential.
Below are screen grabs of the MS Teams interface:
