Permanent search icon in web interface

New UI is much better than the old one but I'm missing one thing.

Does anyone else miss a search icon permanently in the UI (at least on the web interface)?

In the picture attached you can see that you have to click into the "other actions" icon to find the "show search bar" option (marked in red).

IMHO, the search icon should be permanently next to the "display/hide conversation information" (marked in green). There is plenty of space.
