Would you like to adapt the way your contacts can reach you? Use Rainbow status to restrict certain features or simply let your contacts know your availability.
Status display
You can change your own status to indicate your availability (presence). You can also determine the availability of your contacts by checking their status. Status are represented by a plain colored spot on the avatar.
Impact of the status
Each status gives access to different functionalities in Rainbow. The following table summarizes all the possibilities offered for each status.
This status indicates that the user is connected from a computer (Web or Desktop application). Online users may:
Send and receive messages and files.
Make a Phone Call.
Take a Phone Call.
Make a Web Call.
Receive a Web Call.
Start a Web Conference.
Join a Web Conference.
This status indicates that the user is connected to Rainbow. Yet, they are not necessarily behind their computer. Away user may:
Send and receive messages and files.

Join a Web Conference.
This status indicates that the user is connected from a mobile (Android or iOS application). "Online on mobile" users may:

This status indicates that the user is currently in a call. A specification about the type of communication (Audio, Video, or Screen sharing) is displayed. Busy users may:

This status indicates that the user wish to block all Rainbow notifications. "Do not disturb" users may:

It is not a status as such. It is a indication that is visible only to the user who has sent an invitation. Until the invitation is accepted, only messages and files can be sent to the invited user.
