    Hello Ruben,

Thank you for the link. We have added this element in the new version of the article.
In addition, we have published the links to download the new MSI installer (Online & Offline).

    Hi,

What is the different between application for computer vs application for administrations.

I have installed for application for administrations (mass-deployment). but see no different as normal applications.

FYI i have trouble to install "application for administrations", the software always said that i do not have windows privilege administrators account. but in desktop icon i can use the software.

    Thanks

    Hello,
When will an offline deployment version in computer mode be available?
Your services have already provided us with a version for offline mass deployment in computer mode.
Following the last version 1.59.1 of July 28th with a bug with the proxy, we have problems updating the program on more than 700 pc.

    Hello Quentin,

do you confirm that in case of a per-machine installation, the users won't be able to apply the update of Rainbow ?

This will pose a blocage !

    Hello Fabrice,

You're right. Only people with administrator privilegues can update Rainbow if installed with "per-machine" file.

With the next release, admin can disable the notifications pop-up who propose the upgrade to the user. In this situation, adminstrators have to manage the upgrade.

    Hello Quentin,

Could you tell us if the release where we can block the update is available? And how to do this?

    Thanks

    Hello,

This is available since version 1.62. Following command should work:

    msiexec /i "Rainbow_Installer_User_1.62.0.0.msi" WRAPPED_ARGUMENTS="/DisableAutoUpdate"

    Regards,
    Claire
