How to Initiate a Phone Call?

Call someone in your network:

1. Open a conversation with a Rainbow user or find the target person in your Contacts tab.
2. At the top of the page, click on the "Make a call to this contact" icon.
3. If your contact has specified a phone number in their profile, it will be displayed in the drop-down menu. You can then use your predefined device to converse with your interlocutor. 
4. If your contact has not entered a phone number in their profile, you will need to manually dial their number. This action is explained in the second part of this article.
5. Your active phone calls are displayed at the bottom right of the application.
6. A call is displayed as "Call in Progress" before the caller accepts the call and will make "Active Call" once the caller has accepted the call.

Dial a phone number:

You can also dial a phone number in the Rainbow search bar. This can be useful to contact a contact person who does not yet have a Rainbow account.

To do so, insert the number in question in the top left corner of the application and click on the call button that will appear in the results.
