How to Transfer a Phone Call?

You can transfer a phonecall directly from Rainbow. For example, call forwarding allows you to redirect your caller to another person in the event of an error or to continue a conversation on another device.

Note:  This feature requires a PBX connection. Please contact your company's administrator for more information..

How to transfer a phone call?

  1. Active phone calls are displayed at the bottom right of the application.
  2. To transfer a call, you can make a phone call to the desired number. The procedure to follow to make a phone call is presented in a dedicated article.
  3. When you make a new phone call, the current call will be automatically put on hold.
  4. Once the new call is launched, you will be able to transfer the active call to the waiting call using the "Transfer" button.
  5. Once the callers are connected, the call will stop on your side.

Note: You can also transfer an incoming call. All you have to do is accept an incoming call when you are already online. The procedure to follow to accept an incoming telephone call is presented in a dedicated article .The current call will be put on hold and you can transfer the active call to the waiting call.

How to transfer a phone call?

Warming: You should be "Early Adopter" to benefit from this feature on your mobile.

To transfer an incoming phone call:

  1. From the notification window for an incoming call, press the transfer button.
  2. A menu opens with your contacts' phone numbers. Select the person to whom you want to transfer the call from the list.

Transfer a call in progress:

  1. During a phone call, press the transfer button.
  2. The phone numbers available in your profile are displayed. Choose or wish to transfer the current call among those proposed.

    This feature has been released on version 1.59.3. I have tested on an iPhone and its working.

    Hallo,

    Can I transfer the call using the MS Teams connector?

    Call is from PSTN, picked up in Rainbow in Teams and I want to transfer it to the another user as a Teams call?
