You can receive audio/video calls (WebRTC - calls made via the Internet) from all Rainbow contacts. An incoming call may be accepted or declined by a single click. To take full advantage of these functionalities, all you need is a microphone and a Webcam.
NOTE: Making audio/video calls depends on the presence of your contact (Online, Away, and Online on Mobile) whom you wish to call. Think about regularly updating your status!
When an incoming audio/video call is detected by Rainbow, a pop-up window appears in the top right corner of your screen.
There, you may choose between "Answer in a video," "Answer in audio," "Decline" and "Send a message."
Select the appropriate answer.
If you choose "Answer in a video," the video camera of your device will automatically start.
If you opt for "Send a message," two prepared messages are suggested ("I'll call you right back" or "Sorry, I'm in a meeting right now," while you may also create your own personalized message.
When the call is finished, its record is listed in the conversation wall of your contact.
You may go on the "Recent" page by clicking on the icon in the top banner of your screen to find this action listed in your call log.
How to Manage My Audio/Video Incoming Calls?
When an incoming audio/video call is detected by Rainbow, a specific page appears on your smartphone. This page displays the caller identity and the nature of the call (Rainbow Audio or Rainbow Video).
You may "Accept" or "Decline" this call by clicking on the respective button.
If you "Accept" this call, proceed to the conversation. The camera is automatically activated in case of a video call.
If you "Decline," this call is terminated. As there is no answering machine with Rainbow, your contact is unable to leave you an audio/video message.
The "Remind Me" option allows you to ignore the call and add a note to your iPhone.
When the call is finished, its record with relevant information is listed on the conversation wall and in your call log.
By default, the "Remind Me Later" option enables you to resume one hour later or when you leave the place where you're currently located. Select the preferred setting.
Once created, you may amend the reminder in question via the "Reminders" application of your mobile.
