Change the visibility (public or private) of your Company to modify the referencing of your colleagues and, therefore, how they are reachable through Rainbow. Your preference about the visibility of your Company also defines the display of its public page.

NOTE: Administrative functionalities of Companies are available on computers (Web and desktop applications).

How to change the visibility of my Company?

CHOICE FOR THE VISIBILITY OF MY COMPANY
- Click on "Manage my Company" located in the upper band of your screen.
- In the left tab, click on "My Company" to access its settings.
- Choose the expected visibility and click on "Validate" at the top right of your screen.

FEATURES OF A PUBLIC COMPANY
- Members of a public Company are referenced in the Rainbow search engine (located on the left upside of your screen).
- The public page of a public company is referenced in the Rainbow search engine.
- This setting enables concrete inter-enterprise collaboration (customer, provider, etc.)

FEATURES OF A PRIVATE COMPANY
- The Rainbow search engine (search bar located at the top left of your screen) does not deliver information about members of a private Company to users who are NOT members of this Company.
- The public page of a private Company is only available for members through the Rainbow search engine.
- The members of a private Company can ONLY be invited to join a network by email.

FEATURES OF A CLOSED COMPANY
- A closed Company is seen as private.
- The members of a closed Company can ONLY be invited to join a network by email.
- The members of a closed Company can invite outside the company by using an email address.

FEATURES OF AN ISOLATED COMPANY
- An isolated Company is seen as private.
- The members of an isolated Company cannot be invited to join a network.
- The members of an isolated Company cannot invite outside the company.

NOTES: By default, Rainbow users inherit the privacy mode of their Company.
The administrator of a public, closed or isolated Company may render some of the members private.
The administrator of a private, closed or isolated Company may render some of the members public. A public member profile is visible to all Rainbow users. A dedicated article presents how to configure visibility for each member.
