Rainbow Attendant console for Rainbow Hybrid
Since Rainbow release 122 mid-July 2023, the Rainbow Attendant console for Rainbow™ by Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise users connected to an Alcatel-Lucent OmniPCX® Enterprise Communication Server (OXE) or Alcatel-Lucent OXO ConnectR6.0, OCE R6.0 is available.
Rainbow Attendant for Hybrid users requires a new specific subscription offer identified as “Attendant”.
The Rainbow Attendant console presents of a list of waiting calls, with the ability to dispatch the calls to other destinations. It also includes a supervision console that identifies groups of Rainbow users with the capability to see and pick up incoming calls.
The Rainbow Attendant console is available on the Rainbow Web and Desktop applications and is designed for Rainbow users who manage a flow of incoming calls and are responsible for dispatching them throughout the company.
- The attendant is notified of a ringing call on a supervised user. The attendant can pick up the call.
- The supervision console can also be used to make a call to a supervised user or to re-direct an incoming call to a supervised user.
- The Rainbow Attendant can also set or modify the forwarding state of a supervised user.
- The Rainbow Attendant console is the ideal application for an employee who has a central role in routing incoming calls within the company.
- It can also be helpful for informal supervisors who can pick up calls or manage the forwarding activities for groups of employees as necessary.
- Rainbow Attendant can manage and present up to 10 calls, or less for the communication OXE system and 8 max for OXO (PBX).

Restrictions:
- Note that supervision can be multi-site/multi-PBX in a company, however as a first step, pickup is only possible if the attendant supervisor and supervised users are on the same communication system.
- The supervision group are managed by Rainbow Admin only.
- Rainbow Attendant Console is available in all countries worldwide except in China, Russia and territories where restricted by applicable export control rules.
