An invitation to a bubble now provides the name of the inviting person in the Bubbles tab for mobile devices and notification center for the Desktop app. -

When sharing the screen, if a video is played then the user can decide if the audio stream of this video is also shared or not through a checkbox 'Share audio'. -

A new option in telephony settings allows the user to automatically redirect an incoming PBX call to voice mail or another internal number when already engaged in conversation (but not in DND). With this option, the PBX caller doesn't stay without answer. -

The CCD function is available in the upper bar of Teams application: Login/Logout & Wrap-up/Withdraw during agent session. -
Security [Voice & Hybrid Enterprise]
Rainbow supports Two Factor authentication using Time based One-Time passcode. Users with the right level of license will be able to enable an additional level of security at the login step. This option is made available upon administrator configuration in security screen at the company and/or user level. -

Emergency notifications displayed in a conversation have been improved (actions are better identified). -

The what's new is profiled in app according to the services available to the user and display only those features that are relevant to them. The what's new is built based on the latest features for which the user will be notified. -

While in conference the owner only gets 2 options to add temporarily members: 'call participants' and 'Call Rainbow Room' (if relevant) when clicking on the add participant icon. To be noted: add participant or room from the participant list is still available. In P2P call, the option to extend a call will be renamed 'call participant'. -

Call history icons have been redefined for a better understanding and a common appearance among Rainbow clients so that users always face the same icons for a same use case. -

SSO authentication renewal is anticipated so that users never end up being totally disconnected (unless they don’t use the app for a very long period). User is notified with a message "To maintain security, your Rainbow session will expire on . Please extend your session to stay connected." (Allowed answer: Continue / Later). -

Main Fixes

Active talker
It could happen that the blue frame does not surround the speaker but another participant to a conference. It should not happen anymore. -
Admin
Admininistrator of an organization without right to update subscriptions are able to manage subscriptions in other companies within the same organization if the right is allowed in those companies. -
Avatar
Avatar was not immediately removed or added after an action from the user. These actions don't need a refresh any more. -
Background
Add a background image when in conversation (and then out of conversation seemed no more possible for a while. A warning popup is displayed now when the image is too large to be downloaded as background. -
Bubble
Some bubble members could disappear from the member list of a bubble while user was chatting with the bubble's members. Bubble management has been reworked, including the fix of this issue. -
Call history
Wrong information could be stored into the call history so users were not able to recall from there. -
CCD
Rainbow CCD Agents just Logged On, couldn't answer any distributed incoming Call presented in queue, as no PopUp occurred. The event for the call presentation was sent too early in regard to the agent login. It's now taken into account and calls can be answered. -
Connection
Change internet connection could stop the screen sharing display. The screen sharing is recovered now in such a case due to some enhancements in re-connection process. -
Contact offline
Using the option to send email to a contact offline for several days didn't work. The email now is sent and the sender get correct notification on their action. -
Dashboard
Audio Quality option tab could display erroneous icons in the Network column. It has been fixed. -
DND
The option "Ignore VoIP calls in Do Not Disturb mode" couldn’t be deactivated anymore. Side effect of implementation of the feature in another context is fixed now. -
Equipment
In case of multiple equipments, it was not possible to assocaite a user to an equipment beyond the fiftieth because it was not listed, unless entering directly the equipment name. It's now possible to scroll through the entire list. -
Ergonomics
Truncated menu in German language in bubbles recording has been made readable. -
Files
Sending mutiple files could not work sometimes. A protection has been added to not fall into such case.. -
Hub - Audio issue
With some devices, an external call got no audio. An event sequence issue on device side stopped the audio streaming. It's fixed. -
Hub - error message
Admin without right to create / delete public numbers had nevertheless the button 'create' but generated a not understandable error. Admin having no right to create/delete public numbers doesn't anymore the buttons for such actions. -
Hub - Myriad phone
When a call was put on hold or resumed on Myriad, the device displayed an unexpected number below the caller's number. The issue is not reproducible any more. -
Hub - Ringtone
Users didn't receive any ringtone on PC any more after modifying settings. Config warning: when user is in office mode Rainbow app doesn't ring. -
Invitation
In the email sent to create an account, users invited to join Rainbow didn't get any information explaining the rules about creating the new password. The rules have been added in the email. -
Join conference
Users couldn't suddenly join an already started conference, getting an error instead. Enhancements around list of conversations & bubbles have been made. -
Keyboard shortcut
Users got random issues by using keyboard shortcuts. Several identified root causes have been fixed. -
Language
Language was not getting updated when changing from Dutch to English. User's profile did not permit users to modify their personal settings during the initialization process. -
Marker
Thread of unread messages could sometimes not be tagged by 'unread messages'. When connection is back after a network loss, the conversation is updated with the 'unread messages' marker on missed messages. -
Metrics
An export of the audio quality analysis for all members of some company, displayed many users as “unknown” although the consultation per user gave the names. The export is built correctly now and keeps all user's names. -
Metrics
Export of dashboard data didn't take calls under than 5 seconds. All calls are now exported. -
Outlook plugin
Within a company, some users couldn't schedule meetings. To be noted: The domain name must be consistent between Office365 domain and Rainbow. -
Presence
After an unexpected event, other user's presence information could disappear from the application. A stronger protection has been added to recover user's presence in any cases. -
PSTN dial-in
Small display adaptations have been brought to improving the user experience. -
Push to talk
The push-to-talk option sometimes could not be deactivated. Restricted user profiles didn't allow to use some custom data, this shouldn't be the case any more. -
Recording
Call records were not always saved in Rainbow. Records are temporary backuped, so in case of issue the backup version is used, and automatically deleted after the user recovered the data. -
Remote control
The option 'give control of your computer' didn't work well. The option is now available, allowing to choose a participant. -
Shortcut
Calling a user by using a shortcut could reach another unexpected destination. Action event related to these calls was not correct. -
Supervision
Although a user provided with the right license became supervisor, the administrator got an error when looking at the supervision related tabs. A remaining setting, not used for hybrid supervision, has been cleaned to avoid such incorrect information. -
Teams V3
In the context of 2 simultaneous calls, user was unable to retrieve action buttons for the second call after hanging up the first one. Issue in the call area has been fixed.

Refresh was not dynamic in Teams interface after creation of a contact from Rainbow call.

Initiate a call from a search contact in directory led to an error message.Search for contacts has been corrected.

Transfer
Using the option 'RaiseChangeCall' on transfer in Custo.manifest, an 'undefined' number was displayed in a CRM file. The Web app recovers and provides now a correct Caller Number after the transfer. -
Translation
Several corrections have been brought in German language in the 'Tasks' feature. -
Video
Some users could not share their video in bubbles. The degraded network quality did not authorize the video. -
Waking up PC
It happened that some conversation threads were empty after the PC woke up. Enhancements have been made for a better user experience in such a case.

The day-to-day work of the organization administrators of BP/IR companies in dual VAD configuration has been made easier (company selection/switching). -

A new option is available when admin activates the auto-renew of the licenses 'Volume' It allows any number between currently allocated and max number defined on the subscription and can be modified as many times as long as the expiration date is not reached. -

The 20th of each month, EC administrators are notified by email about prepaid and custom subscriptions expiring the 45 next days (as it is already the case for BP administrators), provided that this option has not been deactivated by the BP admin. -

The admin can modify the user option 'Forward when busy in Rainbow call' and lock it so that the user cannot modify it anymore. -

A new optional parameter 'Installation number' per Pbx equipment can be filled in communication section - Equipment information (connection equipment information)- telephony tab. This number is sent as default caller number by Rainbow to PBXs, (and by OXE to PSTN SIP provider) when a call-out is done. -

The administrator can manually synchronize an OXE phonebook. Without waiting for periodical update from Rainbow, they get now a button 'reload' phonebook' in the Connection settings of the Equipment information. -

• An admin can enable the collection and display of analytics per group member from a new thumbnail 'Members analytics' in the Hunting Group information tab. A view is then available to the Group manager as well. These data can be exported. • New role 'Analytics' can be assigned to any member of BP company. It allows this user to access to Analytics information only. • New parameter 'waiting time' in the "advanced" analytics for every Voice Groups is available to the company administrator. • Available for admins and group managers - For any group, in 'Analytics' tab, a waiting time information is added. It reflects the max, min & average time calls were ringing before being answered by a group member. 4 different graphs allow a deep analyze of these data. • Available for admins and group managers -For any group, in 'Analytics' tab, a Call duration information is added. It reflects the max, min & average time calls were active. Rainbow Hub Call queue o An admin can define an overflow to the call queue, management is done similarly as for a parallel group. o Welcome destination search can be refined with 'Hunting group' or 'Queue' as destination fix. o A new option of Hunting group queuing allows an immediate overflow for new or waiting calls as soon as the group becomes empty. The option is not activated by default.
