Bubbles
An invitation to a bubble now provides the name of the inviting person in the Bubbles tab for mobile devices and notification center for the Desktop app. -

A new option in telephony settings allows the user to automatically redirect an incoming PBX call to voice mail or another internal number when already engaged in conversation (but not in DND). With this option, the PBX caller doesn't stay without answer. -
Innovation
In some cases user not be able to manipulate their smartphone for interacting with people. In such cases, Siri voice commands can be used instead to: Start an audio/video conversation with someone; Send a chat message to someone; Start/join a bubble. -
Quality
Offline mode allows users to open their application, write text messages and insert files. The messages, temporary tagged with a clock icon, are sent as soon as the internet connection is restored. -

iOS 17 is now supported. -

The what's new is profiled in app according to the services available to the user and display only those features that are relevant to them. The what's new is built based on the latest features for which the user will be notified. -

Main Fixes

Audio
Audio could be switched automatically in hands free after the user activated the video while in call. The audio is no longer forced on speaker whenever a connected headphones or Bluetooth device is detected. -
Authentication
By re-authenticating through SSO, the Rainbow application could stay in 'connecting' state longer than expected. Enhancements have been done to speed up the full authentication when token has expired. -
Bubble
All bubble members were not always displayed on iOS. Cache issue on iOS is now fixed. -
Call history
Call history did show all missed calls in 'All' tab but not in 'missed tab. Side effect of feature reworking. It's fixed now. -
Contacts
Rainbow users were seen as unknown when chatting in a bubble.
Fetch of information has been strengthened to provide all details from peers. -
Deleted messages
Messages deleted by their expeditor could be not notified immediately on iOS of the recipients. Missing notification in the new implementation. -
Dial-in
A user, in a bubble, trying to share the bubble link and dial-in, could not get any other language setting than English. The settings was unnecessary saved, so used any time. -
Invitation
Inviting a contact from the local contact list might not work. Invitations from local contact list send correctly emails now to the invited people. -
Personal contacts
iOS contacts could be displayed more than once in the Rainbow app personal contacts. The app did a bad filtering when doing a search. -
Task
Tasks sometimes disappeared from the list. The mechanism triggering the fetching of these data has been strengthened. -
Updates
Unless iOS updates are managed by MDM, users received a popup informing about available updates and actions to be done. This popup is removed now.
