Import and configure the image file for WebRTC gateway
- click on the cogwheel icon in the main menu, then select Image Configuration in the Settings page.
- The list of images appears.
- Click on Upload Image to add a new image.
- Once the Create Image window appears, specify the information for creation:
- Name: Enter a name for the image.
- Annotation (optional): Enter a description for the image.
- Image Type: select Disk from the drop-down list.
- Storage Container: select the storage container SelfServiceContainer to be used from the drop-down list. The list includes all storage containers created for this cluster.
- Image Source (take the vmdk file from the WebRTC gateway package) :
- From URL to import the ISO or Disk image from the Internet, by entering its URL.
- Upload a file to upload the file from the workstation.
- When all fields are correct, click on the Save button.
- After clicking on the Save button, a popup window appears with the message "Received operation to create xx" and, on the left, information on the progress of the vmdk file download.
- The Create image window closes and the Image Configuration window reappears with the new image in the list, which can be attached to the installation of a new VM
VM creation
- click on the Home menu on the Prism home page.
- Choose VM
- In the window that opens, go left to the Create VM menu.
- Enter the required information
- Scroll down using the scrollbar, then click on Add New Disk
- Choose Clone from Image Service and select the desired image.
- Choose SATA for Bus Type
- Specify 2 GB memory and leave Legacy BIOS as default
- Click on Add New NIC to add a network card with the associated VLAN you wish to use at the end Click on Add
- When all fields are correct, click on the Save button.
- A popup appears at the top
- Once created, the VM is visible in the VM list
- The VM is not started
- Select it and do a Power On
Then the VM appears in green and you can follow its launch in a console via Launch Console.
