Hybrid Telephony
Rainbow user already engaged in a Rainbow call may answer to an incoming phone call and switch between both calls, or user engaged in a phone call can answer a Rainbow call, and switch between both calls. (Warning: this feature is not available in China environment for iOS devices). -
Rainbow Hub [Voice offer]
A visual indicator should be displayed in the user interface to easily know if a personal routine, other than the default one ( ◷), is active or not. To be noted : the 2 areas (fast access to forward and routines & already existing dedicated zone for communication) are separated by a thin vertical bar. -
Rainbow Hub [Voice offer]
When a call follows a forward or an overflow (on busy, on no answer), and the destination has a welcome calendar, the call is routed according to the corresponding welcome calendar. Calendar rules are applied as the call is routed to the welcome before reaching the final destination. -

User experience
Stick the date while scrolling messages up or down to let the user know the current date of messages the user is viewing right now. -
User interface
In offline mode, the behavior of the user interface is made homogeneous for available functions (bubbles, call screens, call tabs chats, contact tabs, onboarding screens, side menu…), smoother and more responsive for a better user experience. -
User interface
Top bar of the app has been redesigned to support standard iOS navigation bar, including large titles style. This avoids constraints on actions (limitation on number of icons) and the search bar itself (full width of the screen can be used).
Main Fixes
-
App restart
To switch from landscape to portrait mode with screen sharing lead to restart the Rainbow application. The page indexation was badly calculated, it’s now fixed. -
Call back
Unexpected callbacks could be generated before a call is placed. An unusual event sequence treated wrongly the outgoing call. -
Call back
Call back on busy option was not correctly available. It's now possible to call back by using the suffix proposed in the voice guide. -
Conversation
It happened that the order of IMs in a conversation was not presented in the right sequence. The modification of an IM older more recent conversation made a disruption in IM order. -
Files
Transfer of file was not possible. File transfer is not possible directly between users (in chat or bubbles) belonging to different datacenters. A popup information is now displayed: "This transfer operation cannot be done directly as the recipient is hosted in another regional data center. Please download the file to your device before sharing it again." -
Telephony Services
Telephony down on iOS was a side effect of 'SSO renewal anticipation' where an event was not taken into account.
