Note: Rainbow HUB SIP certificate and associated Certificate Authorities are going to be updated on the 1st of April 2024.
This change will be seamsless for all ALE devices (80x8 CE edition, supported "Myriad" and "Halo" as well as "ALE-2" devices) thanks to the "Zero Touch" feature.
Generic SIP devices declared in BP/EC companies and for which the CA chain control is implemented on terminal through a "local CA certificate store" may be impacted by this change.
In order to allow a smooth registration and avoid any downtime, the concerned SIP Generic devices configuration needs to be verified. Most of recent SIP devices already embedded the "UserTrust" root CA and do not need any specific configuration to connect to the Rainbow Hub platform. Some other SIP devices only need to have this Root certificate uploaded, and not the full CA chain. We strongly recommend to verify your SIP device configuration pre-requisites and only upload the Root CA on the device. The intermediate "Gandi" certificate has only been provided for informational purpose. It must be used only on specific SIP devices that require to have the full certificate chain in their "local CA certificate store". This certificate in valid for ONE year.
The generic SIP devices not configured to use any CA certificate control wil l not be impacted by this change.
DECT access points are not concerned. The CA UserTrust root certificate is embedded by default. No certificate configuration is required for DECT.
Root CA certificate: USERTrust_RSA_Certification_Authority.pem
Optional intermediate certificate: GandiRSADomainValidationSecureServerCA3.crt
