User experience
In Bubble tab, Files, Folders & Recordings have been reworked and redesigned to provide a better user experience. -
User experience
Bubble feature got several enhancements: better design / accessibility in bubble creation and in bubble list. -
User experience
The search engine is optimized by allowing the user to select the type of result (people, bubbles, channels, text messages or companies) before entering characters. This avoids sending queries to the server when they're not needed. -
User experience
When filtered by 'Missed', missed calls are no longer grouped to avoid any confusing display in case of callback following missed call. Suppression is done by selecting one or several items. -
User interface
In offline mode, the behavior of the user interface is made homogeneous for channels and call screens for a better user experience. -
User interface (All users having an association with a phone system: Hub & Hybrid)
Telephony settings icon and labels have been changed. 'Telephony' becomes 'Telephony settings' (the menu 'Settings' will become 'General settings'). Immediate Call forwarding state is also indicated on a line below /behind the icon. -
User experience
The user is prompted to free space when the file storage is almost full, preventing from sending or saving files. -
User experience
New settings in the profile templates allow to customize the Rainbow User menu: "Help Center" access can be disabled "What's new" option can be disabled. -
User experience
Improvements around the active speaker have been made to simplify the global display of a conference. -
Conversations (Licenses: Hybrid & Voice offers)
As already available for bubbles, it's possible to join a P2P call on a device and to switch on another one, on the same way. -
User experience
User can select a ringtone to distinguish between inbound calls for Rainbow and native cell calls. -
Innovation (Licenses: Enterprise, Voice Enterprise)
Bubble owner and organizer roles can create and publish polls in bubbles to collect easier and more efficiently the feedback from the bubble audience, access their detailed results. (1 to 20 question maximum per poll, 20 answers maximum per question, anonymous or not). The creator is able to edit and suppress a poll in addition to other actions, while the other organizers are able to publish, clone, and see detailed results only. Everyone in the bubble can vote. -
User experience (Licenses: Voice offer)
Actions that can be defined for each routine are split in 2 groups: "actions in this routine" and "other available actions" when at least one action is enabled, or "No actions in this routine" and "Available actions" when no action are selected. -
User experience
Options and settings of conversations are reworked (as for Android) for a better readability. The ‘More’ menu is replaced by a dedicated view. Tabs in bubble (talking time, members…) are moved into this dedicated view. In addition, 2 new tabs "Call history" and "Voicemail" are displayed for users with hunting groups as icons in the top bar. -
User experience
The call history tab always displays the whole call history, including unread voice messages and new missed calls. It's up to the user to apply a filter. -
User experience
An icon is now displayed in the top bar (right side) for quickly enter/exit to/from the full screen mode when a content is shared in a conference call and displayed on a mobile device in landscape mode. -
User interface
A picture library offers to the users an extended choice for changing their profile picture and bubble or channel's avatars. -
User experience
In companies or organizations with auto-accept enabled, when looking for a contact via search, and after opening the contact details, the presence is now automatically visible, avoiding the user to explicitly do the “Add to my network” action. This evolution only automates this “Add to my network” action and leads to the same behavior as before with the other person being added to the contacts, and with bi-directional presence visibility. (Reminder: the auto-accept mode must be requested to Rainbow CCare through a ticket). -
User experience
To avoid any confusion for the user, when sharing one or several files from device's native share function, Rainbow personal storage has been removed from the recent conversations and placed in dedicated section “File storage” at the top. This section is not made available when user shares something else than a picture or a file, and in case of external storage. -
User experience
The owner of a bubble can promote easily all current bubble members to organizers at the bubble creation or at any time. -
User experience
Presence, calendar of contact and on/off notifications banners of groups have been removed in a conversation . They are replaced by visual indicators in the top bar. -
Cloud Telephony (License: Voice offer)
Overflow or Forward on a customizable voice prompt are available for Hub users in context of busy or no answer. -
Hybrid Telephony (License: Hybrid offer)
The addition of a PBX call from a P2P Rainbow call or a bubble is now depending on a flag set per user and can be restricted as follow: Allowed for all / Internal / National / Not allowed. -
Hybrid Telephony (License: Hybrid offer)
The in/out of the supervision group (mutual aid supervision group to replace PBX hunting group) in now implemented on mobiles applications. A member of the group is notified of supervised calls and is able to intercept it from a mobile phone. This feature can coexist with an OXE native In/Out of an OXE group. -
Hybrid Telephony (License: Business, Enterprise, Attendant)
Rainbow manager/assistant service allows a Rainbow user with manager role to delegate their incoming phone calls to one or several Rainbow users with assistant role. During this delegation, the manager is notified silently (Web) only of these calls and they are presented to Assistant(s) as Supervised calls, Assistant(s) can pick up these calls.
Main Fixes
-
Analytics
Count in welcome services section was inaccurate. A new type destination "Cancelled calls" has been added to take all calls into account. -
CCD
It was not possible to withdraw from CCD on iPad. The option is now available. -
Login
Users couldn't go further than the country selection when logging for the first time. It is fixed by updating the country list correctly. -
Mute
The mute didn't follow a switch from iOS to another app. The conference participant update was not well updated in such a case.
