You may manage telephony extensions of your Company members in bulk with configuration files (format .csv). This functionality is beneficial for Companies with plenty of members. In this way, you may create, update or delete all your colleagues in a few clicks. A source file sample is available in your administration space. This file presents all the possibilities for you when monitoring your members.
Note: Administration functionalities of Companies are only available on computers (Web and Desktop applications).
How to Create or Modify My Company's Members in Bulk?
Source File Sample Retrieval
Click on "Companies" in the upper band of your Rainbow screen.
In the left panel, go to "My company" to access the Company settings page.
Select the tab "Members" and click on the blue button "IMPORT."
Choose "Import user information from formatted CVS file."
In the first paragraph about your members' information, click on the link "Download user sample file."
Source File Preparation
Open the sample file downloaded from your administration space. This file includes a description of possible actions.
The entries "Action" and "LoginEmail" must be filled as they are related to the forthcoming action and the account of the targeted member. Three actions are available:
Create: To create a user by automatically assigning data from columns B to P.
Update: To update a user by automatically assigning data from columns B to P. Leaving a blank case does NOT erase the active value before importing the file.
Delete: To delete a user and its data (conversations, contacts, etc.).
Note: For the values ending by "0", you can create a new columns with the same label ending by"1". This allows you to add multiple MobilePhones or Services, for example.
Warning: Pay attention to respecting the encoded CSV format in UTF8 when saving the file.
To keep the right format for E.164 encoded numbers:
apply ‘text’ format to the appropriate column to be able to enter a leading '+' or add a single quote ' in front of the number.
You may choose also to import the file in an excel sheet by selecting the tab ‘DATA’ and then ‘From Text’ in the upper banner. In ‘Data preview’ display, highlight the appropriate columns and tick ‘Text’ in the Column data format before you click on ‘finish’ to get well displayed data.
Source File Import and Data Analysis
Starting on the page "Import Users in Bulk" of your administration space, click on the blue button "BROWSE."
Select the preselected source file and click on "Open."
Type a description of your import that will enable the tracking of your actions.
Click on "IMPORT" to start the process.
A recap of future actions is, then, presented. To validate your choice, please click on "IMPORT."
A progress bar shows the status of the process before a final message appears.
In the table "Bulk Operations Results" below, an additional line comes in. Click on this line to get a detailed report of operations.
This report can also be downloaded for archive purposes or analysis of potential error cases by clicking on "SAVE REPORT."
If you click on the button "BACK TO MEMBERS," you will see the added information.
Note: When creating new members from a CSV file, you can notify (or not) the user by email.

The sample file downloading from the Rainbow Admin panel is different than the sample shown above, and we need to edit the sample file manually if we needs to do the bulk provisioning.
Why Rainbow developers can not provide the correct CSV file as a sample file???
The template file that you download from the Rainbow Admin panel is the correct CSV sample file. It may happen that we add new columns in the file at a new Rainbow SW releases and that this helpcenter article is not updated. Therefore you should consider the above pictures rather as an illustration of the principle.
So bulk upload should be quite easy.
A trick to get a real sample with your country inputs : add a first user via the web interface and then do a CSV export of your user. You get then a practical sample that you can complete with all other users information in excel tool.
Thanks for your response, better if you can update the help center article and change the sample CSV file in to simple one as shown in the above figure. otherwise, customers may mislead and we as ALE business partners facing difficulties in promoting ALE rainbow to customers,
Also, please introduce an automated mechanism to add users to the company. you can do it using the domain part of the email address.
Eg; Using domain part of the email address "@abcdcompany.com" rainbow can add that user in to "ABCD Company" automatically then it will reduce the complexity of the process.
The domain recognition feature does already exist but it is set up by the Rainbow Customer Care, if they get the request from the approved domain name owner.
it's really good to know that the domain recognition feature does already exist, kindly send me the procedure to request this from Rainbow Customer Care and format for grant approval from domain name owner.
As an ALE Business Partner, you must open an eSR on behalf of your end customer. In the eSR you must demonstrate that you have obtained approval from the end customer and their domain name authority to automatically link all future end users with email @domain_name to the Rainbow company of the end customer.
It will work for new users. Existing users should be invited to join the Rainbow company.

is it also possible to use bulk management also to get the users into the company domain without additional invitation through Admin management...?
