How to Share my Location?

Do you need to find one of your contacts for an appointment? No problem, use Rainbow on Android or iOS device to share your location and find yourself more easily.

Note: This feature is based on your smartphone settings. You need to allow Rainbow to use your location to take benefit of this feature.

How to Share my Location?

You can share your location directly from a Conversation or Bubble:

  1. Open the Conversation or the Bubble where you want share your Location. Press on the "share" button.
  2. From the pick list, choose "Location".

  1. Your current location is add to the Conversation or Bubble. You can press on the picture to open the map in Rainbow.
  2. From the map, you can take benefit of your GPS features. Use the button at the bottom left to start "Maps" application and start a GPS itinerary.

How to Share my Location?

  1. Open the Conversation or the Bubble where you want share your Location. Click on the "share" button.
  2. From the pick list, choose "Location".

  1. Your current location is add to the Conversation or Bubble. You can press on the picture to open Google Map.
  2. From the map, you can take benefit of your GPS features or start a GPS itinerary.

Note: This function allows you to send your current location. Your position won't be updated in real time.

    Hi, I do not see this feature on my Rainbow client (iOS v1.57.2.449). Great feature when it appears!

    Hello Paul,

    You're right! For the moment this article is in "Coming Soon" section. You should be able to share you location from mobile on Rainbow with the future versions! 😊
