You want to give a way to join your Bubble directly from an email or any other tool? Share your Bubble using a direct link.
People with this link will be able to open the group conversation with a simple click without having to search for it in Rainbow or accept an invitation.
Share a Bubble through a Direct Link
You can share your Bubble using a direct link. You have the possibility to restrict the use of this link to the people already invited to the Bubble or on the other hand use this function to allow anyone to join the Bubble.
- Go to the Bubble you wish to share.
- Click on the button "
Other actions" in the right side of the top banner.
- In the menu, choose "
Share this Bubble by link" to open the share page.
- Choose who can join your Bubble using the link. If you choose "Only with the member of this Bubble" don't forget to invite the persons concerned before publishing the link.
- Memorize the link by clicking on the button "Copy the link". You can now paste this link to an email, or in any other tool.
Note: If the Owner of a Bubble disables link sharing, Organizers will not be able to use this function.
Tips: If someone who does not have a Rainbow account uses your link, they will be able to join the Bubble as a Guests. Learn more
Revoke a Bubble Direct Link
You can disable the sharing by link of a Bubble. Deactivated links no longer allow you to join the Bubble.
- Go to the Bubble you wish to share.
- Click on the button "
- In the menu, choose "
- Uncheck the box "
Share this Bubble by link" and click you the button "Continue" to revoke the link.
Note: Users who have joined the Bubble via a link remain Members of the group conversation even if this link is then revoked. They will still be able to access the Bubble from Rainbow.
Modify a Bubble Direct Link
You can change the access link to a Bubble at any time. Previously shared links will no longer be valid.
- Start by revoking the pre-existing links as presented in the previous part of this article.
- Check the box "
- Choose who can join your Bubble using the link. If you choose "Only with the member of this Bubble" don't forget to invite the persons concerned before publishing the link.
- Memorize the link by clicking on the button "Copy the link". You can now paste this link to an email, or in any other tool.
