What is Rainbow Hub ?

Overview

Rainbow Hub is a middleware based on our CPaaS platform (hub.openrainbow.com) that delivers all necessary services via API to Business Partners and Application Partners to build their own collaboration solution. With Rainbow Hub, our partners can deliver full Cloud PBX + collaboration + conferencing + advanced communication features capabilities from the cloud to their customers.

To provide full their cloud services, it’s necessary for our partners to add connectivity to the Public Switched Telephony Network (PSTN), i.e. the assignment of a phone number to a company or a user, and the routing of incoming and outgoing phone calls. Partners are given the ability to provide these services themselves.

Rainbow Hub is the perfect technology, allowing our partners to offer their own cloud communications services and their customers a smooth migration path to the cloud.

What services APIs are available?

Telephony services

• All telephony features; available on PC, smartphone, and desktop
• Second call, in-call control, attended, and blind transfer, 3^rd-party calls, call forward
• Monitoring and pickup of calls to other user(s)
• Calls to manager can be monitored and picked-up by secretary
• Hunt groups, sequential, cyclic, parallel and call overflow on busy or no response
• Voice mail with visual notification of new voice mail in user interface
• Record all calls
• Desktop phones supported: cloud edition phones range from ALE

Collaboration capabilities

• Team collaboration: up to 300 participants in group chat
• File sharing and storage up to 20GB
• Up to 120 participants for conferencing (voice and video calling, screen/app sharing, remote control)
• Following, creating, and managing information channels
• Microsoft Office 365 Exchange Online and Google calendar integration
• Microsoft Outlook plug-in & Active Directory contact search
• Remote desktop control
• Ad-hoc web conferencing (Add participants to 1-to-1 call)

• partners who sell Rainbow Hub services and let end-customers select a certified SIP provider of their choice
• SIP service provider partners, certified with Rainbow Hub, who provide the traffic certified with Rainbow Hub
