Android 5, 6 & 7: End of support starting with Rainbow version 101

To ensure the best usage of Rainbow on mobile, we will no longer support Rainbow app running on Android versions lower than 8, starting with version 101 (version 8 still supported). After this date, your Rainbow application may not work as expected on these versions.

Rainbow always strives to support the most popular platforms used by our customers and will periodically update the list of supported platforms to meet customer needs. To minimize disruption to our support strategy, we recommend that you upgrade as soon as possible.

Why is Rainbow doing this removal?

The growing gap between these older versions and newest limits our technology options and hinders our ability to continue to provide the reliability and functionality you expect.

    8088 still runs on Android 6, what about 8088 plans?

    Hello,

    the end of support only concerns Android on mobiles.

    support on Android linked to 8088 is not impacted.
