New Features
- User experience
When user defines personal phone numbers in their profile, they can use these numbers in the call forwarding option in telephony settings or for personal routines. - Rainbow Hub - Communication
- The blind transfer can be done to more destinations. User can search a contact by name in different directories.
- Telephony profile: bubble capabilities are opened in telephony profile to support certain features. For those profiles, the left panel displays the dialer and the speed dials close to the Contact tab.
- User can combine WebRTC and PSTN calls, back & forth, hold, transfer, multi-party calls) whatever the source of the call. (Known restriction: when a user is in deskphone mode, it isn't possible to join the live conference.)
- User Interface
For a better user experience, the different Rainbow clients display now the same information when receiving it in a bubble: name of user, name of bubble, message, avatar of the user. - Rainbow Hub - Attendant console
- A company can now have multiple console attendant (with Voice Attendant license) in a parallel group and managing the same inbound call flow.
- On multi-tab supervision, a red circle notifies incoming ringing calls on hidden tabs to inform the voice attendant
Main Fixes
- Analytics
Some softphone calls were not taken into account in analytics pages (WebRTC GW call with an external number unknown to Rainbow) They are now covered in the Analytics. - Bubble
It happened that users couldn’t access a conference with a frequent occurrence. Switching between conferences close in time could cause problems in the processing of events. It’s fixed. - Capitalization letters
Wrong capitalizations in German translation have been fixes in several words. - Conference
Some users reported that it was very difficult to start a conference in a bubble. Bad sequencing of the establishment of the session was causing this issue. It’s fixed. - Connection
It happened that some users could randomly lose their connection with the message: ‘No telephony available’. In case there are network stability issues, the Web Application is reconnected more easily. - Do not Disturb
User’s sets with specific audio device were ringing despite being in DND. Some events not disabled in DND context prevented its effective working. They are correctly managed now. - DTMF
Keypad could not be appearing in the context of conference established by merging 2 calls from a caller. The issue was due to the merging of an external destination, that prevented the conference to be rightly set and then to use the contextual buttons. This is no longer the case. - Incoming call
While in conference, incoming calls were automatically picked up by the Rainbow application. The pick-up based on specific event was done by the user’s headset, it’s now well managed. - Link
Some links were not copied/pasted correctly into Rainbow. Special characters at the end of a link are well taken into account now. - PBX call
Incoming PBX calls could be ringing while the users already joined a conference with their headset. Fixed by the new headset SDK managing headsets. - Quality indicator
The quality indicator didn’t always reflect the perceived quality of the communication. The MOS calculation was not always starting at the relevant point, it has been reviewed to be consistent with the calls. - Ring back tone
Some users couldn’t hear ring back tone after the welcome message although they got double ring back tone when calling outgoing. A development takes now fully into account the ring back tone in deskphone mode on SIP device. - WebRTC admin
Company configured with a shared PBX was not offered the option to add a second WebRTC Gateway. The option is now unlocked.
Administration
- Rainbow Hub Admin
Admin can configure a group of attendant consoles in parallel distribution mode. Voice attendant feature is now available for all Rainbow Hub companies.
