BT headsets on devices: guidelines

Device: Myriad M7

Headset: JABRA Evolve 65

Direct BT connection.

Pairing of the headset is done via the device configuration interface (Menu > Basic Setting > Bluetooth => scan + connect) :

In the status toolbar a "BT connection enabled" icon appears (see screenshot below).

• It is possible to configure a headset audio mode management button on the device.

• On an incoming call :
  • Call can be answered by using the multi-functional headset button.
  • If the headset audio mode is already active on receiving a call, the call can be taken on the headset through the call keys (« Take », « OK », Off-hook).
• In conversation :
  • Current conversation in headset audio mode: the call can be released with the multi-functional headset button.
  • Current conversation in handset audio mode / hands-free: the call cannot be resumed with the multi-functional headset button: to switch to the headset audio mode, the button managing the headset audio mode on the Myriad phone must be used.
• On an outgoing call :
  • If the headset audio mode is already activated, the dialling and ringback tone are well heard in the headset.

¤ This headset can be directly connected on the device in Bluetooth.

¤ The call pick-up via the multi-function button of the headset works.

 ! The audio switch mode via the multi-functional headset button doesn't work.

Headset: JABRA Pro 930 USB Duo

USB connection on base / BT connection between headset and base.

• No Bluetooth pairing with the device Myriad M7 (only USB connection of the Bluetooth base of the headset).
• It is possible to configure a headset audio mode management button on the device.
• On an incoming call :
  • Call can be answered by using the multi-functional headset button.
  • If the headset audio mode is already active on receiving a call, the call can be taken on the headset through the call keys (« Take », « OK », Off-hook).
• In conversation :
  • Current conversation in headset audio mode: the call can be released with the multi-functional headset button.
  • Current conversation in handset audio mode / hands-free: the call can be resumed with the multi-functional headset button.
• On an outgoing call :
  • If the headset audio mode is already activated, the dialling and ringback tone are well heard in the headset.

Finding

• The headset Jabra Evolve 65 (range BT ≈ 100m) can be connected directly in BT on the device.
• The headset Jabra Pro 930 USB Duo (range BT ≈ 100m) doesn't connect directly in BT on the device (BT Base connected through USB to the device).
• To answer an incoming call can be done by using the multi-functional headset button.
