How it works:

Once the Rainbow Desktop application is installed you will need to modify the Rainbow Settings file to add the following entry:

"disableAutoUpdate": true

Once this setting is set the next time the application is started and if a new version is available, no update will be offered.

Configuration:

Quit The Rainbow Desktop app

Go to the Finder, from the menu "Go" select "Go to Folder" (Shift+Command+G) and type following path

User/username/Library/Application Support/Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise/Rainbow/Settings

Edit the file Settings, add the Parameter disableAutoUpdate

Save the change.

Restart the Rainbow Desktop app.
