Create non Rainbow contacts in Rainbow / phonebook
Not plannedThe user should be able to create a phonebook in Rainbow where we can enter names & PSTN numbers for CTI reasons. The users should not have an email or Rainbow account.
THe use case is to dial these numbers/names via Rainbow and start a call on OXE/OXO.

Thank you for your suggestion, but we will not implement a new personal phone book in Rainbow.
User is able to call back people with a Rainbow account or not (people from Azure AD directory, PBX phone book, and even Outlook personal contacts for Windows Desktop users).

I yet understood that.
But should not we all want to make Rainbow as user-friendly as possible? Unfortunately, the reality is that Rainbow is not the linchpin application on our customers' desktops. And that will not change, if you do not give the customer something he really wants.
An example:
On my Mac desktop I can not access any local directory, I only see the rainbow contacts. That's really not much. If I want to call a contact, I have no choice but to type the number in the search field by hand... That certainly can not be the idea behind it ... -
We often sell products like "MetaDirectoy" (by Estos) or "XPhone Connect Directoy" (by C4B) to merge different existing data bases (CRM, public telephone directories.....). So man can search names by one LDAP request with reverse lookup. Some customers uses OpenLDAP as directory service. So it would be interesting when the Rainbow client could use an "search link" to a LDAP Server.

Tobias,
There is may be a misunderstanding with my answer. I said that we mainly rely on system directories (Rainbow is one, Microsoft Azure AD is one, and the PBX directory is one), and that for the Desktop app, we also rely on Microsoft Outlook directory.
For OXO PBX for example, the user will have access to the same OXO directory than the one available via dial by name on the fixed or mobile device.

Customers are not interested to the technical background, they want two simple features:
- search phone number by name to take outgoing calls
- assign name to a number for an incoming call of a new contact
in the 1990er it was easely able to do this with free software like http://www.isdn-monitor.org!
