Problem connecting OXE to RainbowAnswered
During the procedure to connect OXE to Rainbow, we understood that OXE is not able to resolve openrainbow.com name ( using ping : "unknown host openrainbow.com") even if its DNS ( 22.214.171.124) was available and it was reachable . After DNS entry by netadmin, a CS reset was done. With the same ip address configuration on a PC the name is resolved. Moreover, look at the Rainbow public ip address we got by a ping on PC, we added a host name by netadmin and we got "PING openrainbow.com (126.96.36.199): 56 octets data" BUT OXE was still not able to connect to Rainbow. Official prerequisites doc for Rainbow connection has been shared to end customer and according to their it manager it should be ok ( firewall policy, etc) . How to check that OXE is really asking to DNS to resolve the name ? and how to check the tentative to connect to rainbow ?
OXE Rainbowagent send a Keep Alive every 80s via the secured web socket (port 443) and have a 40s timeout for the reply.
For connection issues you should first investigate OXE logfiles under /var/log/rainbow* and check Rainbow related incidents "incvisu |grep -i rainbow".
