Block all Notifications During an Important Call

Hi guys,

as we live in a very dynamic world having a UC solutions is mostly curse and blessing at the same time. Since we all get annoyed when people are able to ping us during a call it might make sense to build an "important call" button.

If you switch it on all of the notifications and other calls get completely blocked out until you are done with your important call. This might give you a chance to focus as if you were in a "virtual office" secluded of unnecessary attention.

  Hello Toni,

  Thank you for your suggestion. For the moment Rainbow blocks any notification when:

  • Your status is set as " Do not Disturb".
  • You are sharing your screen while an Audio/Video Call or Conference.;

  Indeed, the busy status that is automatically set up during a Call is not enough to block notifications.The availability to define your status as Do not disturb during a call may be a first step in responding to this suggestion.

  We would also like to hear from others who use Audio/Video Call in Rainbow. It is up to you to vote and comment! 😊

  Thanks for coming back to me.
  
  The DND option is a start, but it doesn’t block all notifications. Only the pop up notification gets blocked while the client on the start menu and on the tray still show notifications.

  I’ll get a few people to have a look at this suggestion and maybe vote for it!
