I opened a ticket with the support, with both Android and WebRTC logs, as I tested Rainbow to receive calls via VoiP - and it does not.

Let's see the evolution of this matter!

Currently, after the new Android version 1.56 has been deployed in my device, this problem has not more occurred.

Just ~5 seconds (it depends) to start "ring" the mobile (Rainbow Android in VoIP mode), after deskphone started to ring.

I confirm that calls arrives even if the app is closed.

    (Rainbow Android version 1.56.3)

I confirm my previous comment about the calls but I still have no notifications about missed calls.

    Vamsi,

I gently ask you to open a ticket, sending to support@openrainbow.com all possible details annexed (local WebRTC logs, Android logs, etc), with the issue you related.

(I also already have an opened ticket due to a scenario of 'non-ringing' VoIP call in my Android version, after 1.56 version launch)

    Hello,

Several new corrections have been delivered quite recently to enhance the Android behavior (thank you Ruben! your tickets are always welcome).

The version 1.58 should bring more comfortable mobile experience.

    Nevertheless:

    - don't forget to check the application parameters (you can configure the notifications by app: Unlock notifications for Rainbow)

    - the battery saver and battery consumption settings can also have an impact on the Android behavior

    Best regards

    Nathalie

I got a new business Android smartphone some weeks ago and i have also the issue, that i don´t recieve any change of the number of notifications. I opened a ticket and the support told me, that is not a bug, but an improvement to do. I found a feature suggestion that told me to change the rules is the battery usage of my Android smartphone and exclude Rainbow from the battery saving list. I did it, but no change in the behaviour.

So it is a bug, will there be an improvement or do i have to contact the support again ?

    Hello Ralf,

In version 1.64 planned for November 17th, we will deliver following enhancements:

    - Android/IOS: Update app icon for missed calls: App icon will warn the user that he/she lost missed calls, either for WebRTC calls or PBX calls. Current counter on app icon will now consider new chat messages and missed calls.

    - On IOS only: Display missed call push notification if call isn't answered. As for IM, missed calls will be notified in the notification area.

    Best regards,
    Claire
