Start Rainbow minimized

Would it be possible to add an option controlling if rainbow starts minimized (in the tray) and not open a window on the desktop when logging into windows?

Rainbow is the only application automatically starting on login and popping up on the screen. Pretty obtrusive.

  Is there any news or findings on this yet? Roadmap for when it will be introduced?
