changing E-Mail address
Why isn`t it possible to change the e-mail address?
From my point of view, it should be possible for the e-mail address to be changed. The name of a person and thus also the e-mail address can change due to marriage or divorce.
The email address is the unique identifier for a Rainbow user account. That's why it is not possible to change it.
However, I agree with you, there is exceptional situations like divorce etc..
What can be done in this case, is changing only the communication mail address (it's a different field in the user profil), and also change the user's lastname.
However, there is drawbacks to be taken in consideration with this workaround:
- the user must continue to use former email adress to login
- if someone would like to invite the user, as contact or in a bubble, the former email address has to be known

We can change the login email address for single user and it can be modified by an admin in the tab 'security' of the concerned user, the feature is available in the latest version of Rainbow v118.
However, the Rainbow Login Email modification is a billed service for multiple users. Kindly create a service request to our support team with the required details to get assisted on this request.
