missed call number alert - how to agree or confirm

in the call log from rainbow, there is a red number above to alert people if they have missed one ore more call, how could they agree or dismiss the red number without deleting lines in the logs?

If you click the red cross, the line is deleted and the alert above is gone but also the number or log is lost.
