Known restrictions and other important information
- To match the target usage of the Rainbow Telephony for Microsoft Teams it is recommended to apply a Rainbow "Telephony" profile to the user's account.
- The Add-in is only available in English, French and German.
- Do not use the Rainbow web application in parallel to Rainbow Desktop application, currently the Rainbow Telephony for Microsoft Teams will also detect the web application as Rainbow client but it will not work as expected.
- New Call screen is not fully working on MacOS, for now don't use the Rainbow Telephony for Microsoft Teams add-in on Mac to avoid a degraded user experience.
- In case of a network disconnection the Rainbow Telephony for Microsoft Teams may lose synchronisation with the Desktop application. Changing from one tab to another or clic on the refresh button should reestablish the connection.
- The Rainbow Telephony for Microsoft Teams add-in (zip package - manifest file) is not yet available on Microsoft Teams App-source. It can be downloaded here.
Troubleshooting
In case you have an issue, first of all set the log level to Info and then reproduce the problem.
Once the problem is reproduced, download the Rainbow Telephony for Microsoft Teams logs and also collect the Desktop application logs.
You can then report the problem by sending an email to support@openrainbow.com.
Add to the description a copy of the about screen, which will provide all information about the version used.
We recommend to set the log level back to Error to avoid generating to many log data during normal usage.
