Caller Name Transmission on Guest Based PBX Setup (Hotel)

Hello,

we recently started using Rainbow in combination with our OXE PBX. Everything works perfect.

One thing I am missing is the Display of the Caller Name when a Guest is calling a "Rainbow extension".

Our PBX set up is Guest Based meaning a GPIN is checked in which is linked to the physical extension. The proper guest name is only displayed when a "PBX-connected IP-Phone" is called but its not shown in the Rainbow client.

All other admin PBX extensions name are transmitted and displayed okay.

Is this a known "issue" and on the agenda or maybe already existing and only a configurational thing?

  I understand the issue. Could you raise a request to the OXE team with a detailed call scenario and logs for the analysis. 

  This could be some issues with the configurations on the OXE side.
