Call routing in Rainbow calls when forwarding or other number is activated

Hello,

When, from Rainbow, you enable call forward in your OXE extension, or "Other phone", the configuration is applied at OXE level, and calls to your OXE extension will follow that routing.

But with that same configuration, when you are called via Rainbow, these calls will still ring in your Rainbow client.

 

It looks somehow inconsistent.

Rainbow knows the status of the user configuration, so it would make sense that the behavior is consistent regardless of how you are being called. For example if you are called via Rainbow but you activated call forward because you only want to be contacted in your home phone, Rainbow routes call to your home phone, and avoids ringing your rainbow client.

  Indeed. More generally, I think OXE should "disappear" behind Rainbow. For the user experience (and hence user adoption), a seamless integration between both worlds is crucial.
