Allow Control of Desktop During a Screen Sharing Session

with remote desktop control at the moment we are restricted to simply looking at the screen. Which is nice but not what most people expect.

When will control of the desktop be available so it will give what most users would expect

Dear Gary,

Giving the Desktop control to another user is road mapped but this is today not a high priority for us. This is probably a topic that we will address in Q1 next year.

Hey @Christophe,

Following on from the above comments, could you please let us know what the status of this is? Had a meeting with our key distributor in the UK and they see this as being a key feature that could 'make' Rainbow in the UK.

Dear Gary, what is new status of give me control of my shared PC desktop by other participants ?

This feature is very important for collaboration process during shared PC desktops.

This feauture know Cisco, S4B and Rainbow can't possible.

For next migration from S4B to Rainbow solution it is very mandatory condition.

Hi all.

In the current times (fighting with COVID-19) where work at home reigns, this functionality will be very useful for our IT technology partners.

I understand it is on the roadmap but is it possible that this functionality will be available soon?

Hello mr. Muninger, the COVID period is typical example when missed Remote control of PC in Rainbow solution is high handicup againts competeted technologies Teams,Zoom, Cisco....etc. How long time Rainbow will wait for implementation Remote control feature ? We have from customer side permanently opposition that without Remote control feature teh Rainbow isn't complete collaboration solution. After we lose the opportunity to compete with other technologies offers. Typical ex. is the school. The lector from his presentation need possible take control to student. Pleas for faster reaction of evolution Rainbow solution if we are to be able to compete.

Remote control is available since version 74 for P2P calls and it has been extended to bubbles in version 77.
