This will be implemented on mobile devices (version 1.38). File will be downloaded before if not already done.

For the Web/Desktop, we will also propose to transfer a file you have received (probably version 1.39 pr 1.40).

I would suggest to have this forward button not just for the attachments but also for single text elements of a conversation (really like in What's App).
That's very helpful e. g. in case you need help from somebody else t answer a question without exposing your own second level helper by integrating him directly into the conversation.

Hello, in the current Rainbow version, you already have an useful option to share a file with other Rainbow users (see below: two buttons when you go over the file, the second one is used here).

Concerning the same idea for text, a "copy to clipboard" button could be nice, if not a "share" button similar to the file.

hello jean pascal, thanks for your feedback. I know this feature very well because of that i made a screenshot. I would like to have this feature also for received files. In this case you have to download and share it manually from windows explorer etc...

Attached another screenshot with an example where you have no share button, first download, then share manually.

Precision: for the time being, the "share" capability is only for your own files, not yet for received attachements.

In my opinion we should expand the cloud storage functionality with received files, so you would have the forward button and also all received files always on your rainbow client, independent from hardware. Ideally a favorite button for preferred or needed files and all other file will be overwritten if storage is full, according to the fifo principle. or make often forwarded and used files automatically to favorite ;)

Agree with you Mikail, I have already requested to extend the share on received files, as an improvement.
Our Product Manager will decide if and when to introduce this in a future release.

At least the Rainbow Community will have discovered we can do that on sent files :)

Hi all, thank you very much for that feature could use it today to optimize my daily business "share document" BUT get no feedback from the client through an pop-up like " your document was successful shared with xyz" or like in other apps open the the chat window of the shared user with the shared document and the ability to make additional comments etc...

Could you please implement this also, many many thanks.
