Audio / Video issue on settings
My audio isnt working.... I can see the internal cam on audio/video settings but on microphone and loudspeaker its greyed out and says =>
Rainbow does not have access rights to your system's audio devices

Hello Rainer,
you might check if you have allowed the mic usage for desktop applications.
It's (for Windows 11), in Settings/ Privacy & Security/ Microphone
Option "Let Desktop apps access your microphone" should be on and in the list of apps below this option you should fine Rainbow

Thank you for your response.
If you are logging in through the browser, please check the browser settings.
The issue may be because of the browser please check if the browser has blocked access to the microphone and camera. So, please check in the browser settings if the Rainbow app is allowed to access the camera and microphone.
Also, we tried to reproduce the issue in our lab by removing the rights to access the camera/micro in the browser settings and got the same issue.
Also, sometimes while accessing www.openrainbow.com, the micro is not available.
Please click on the microphone with the red cross to authorize access to the microphone.
I hope this will help you to troubleshoot the issue.

Hi Abdul,
thank you very much. But my issue is not a browser issue since i used the rainbow client itself and that showed me this issue that it has no rights to access microphone & loudspeaker.... by the way other windows software still can access w/out any issue like rainbow did before.
