webRTC not supported in Firefox and Chrome
RéponduHello,
I'm currently creating a MEAN stack application using the sdk for web APIs and I want to make audio and video call from the app.
Both Firefox (v57, 64bits) and Chrome (v63, 64bits) return that webRTC isn't supported when making the call (rainbowSDK.webRTC.canMakeAudioVideoCall() return false).
Have you ever been confronted to this error ?

Hi Nathanaël,
I did some test today for the next release and the WebRTC still works.
Could you please check with our Demo project (From ressource page)
https://hub.openrainbow.com/sample/SDKAudioVideoAngularSample/index.html
and it worked for me.
Are you in https ? Our WebRTC library/servers request https.
Best regards,
Pascal

I am sorry, by design WebRTC is only allowed with https in Rainbow.
We will update some documentations pages, it is written but not everywhere.
For example, in http most browsers won't remember you choice to allow the webcam/microphone usage.
And most of our partners require https. If you need a free https certificate you can do it quickly and free with LetsEncrypt.
