Modify Errors Messages

Hi,

It would be perfect if for every authentication fail, we had a helpful message.
For example, when the user make a mistake on his email (like a space at the end) the software says "Server is not responding".
This message lead us to investigate on our network for hours, but the problem was finally this damn space at the end of the email...
