Backuping the webRTC gateway

Good day all,

Does the webRTC gateway support hot backuping (via VEEAM for instance) ? Without interrupting the virtual machine.

  Hello Zacharie,

  We have never tested this scenario but it should be ok provided you have installed all required services (VEEMA, ...). VMware tools which seem to be required are installed in the VM.

  However, if you have saved the configuration file, WebRTC gateway can be deployed and reconfigured in less than 2mn. So even without hot backuping, it should be quick to restore it.
