Rainbow without support for RCC?
I recently bought new Jabra Evolve 65 Bluethooth headphones. The big apparent benefit is that I can be connected to both PC and mobile phone at the same time and easily place or take calls on both devices.
I noticed, however, that when I'm making a call on the PC with Rainbow, every sound coming from the mobile phone, a notification of any kind for example, interrupts my call for 3-5 seconds.
It's impossible to work like this so I asked Jabra to look into this. As it now turns out, the problem seems to be that, according to Jabra Support, Rainbow recently deactivated support for RCC. So Jabra is not able to make a difference between regular sounds on the PC and a Rainbow phone call which means it is not able to isolate and protect the phone call from other notifications. Teams, Zoom, Skype and other UC applications all don't seem to have that problem.
Could someone from Alcatel please comment on that? Are you aware of the problem and is a solution planned?
