Once the SIP trunk is connected to Rainbow Cloud and RB Voice licences have been assigned to your company, it is time to create your first cloud PBX.
Cloud PBX Creation:
We assume the targeted Rainbow company has been created as explained in following articles:
The company must be granted with at least one Voice Licence.
Cloud PBX is now displayed in the list of available PBX.
Go into Communication , Communication Server and click on Create:
Select Cloud PBX type:
Following information must be filled in:
-Language of the Voice Prompts
-Number of digits of internal dialing plan: Here we have chosen a four digits dialing plan
-Internal prefix: Here 1xxxx
These last 2 parameters are used to generate the internal dialing plan.
-Outbound prefix: Prefix for public outgoing calls (mandatory)
-Public SIP trunk: Value to be chosen among the list of trunks assigned to this company
-Public Number: Main public number of the company usually the first number of the DDI list.
By default, it is automatically specified during DDI range creation in the next step. Leave it empty for now
Your Cloud PBX is ready:
Declaration of Public Number Ranges:
Public DDI must have been purchased from your SIP operator.
Available ranges of public numbers must be declared by the Rainbow Voice Partner to the company prior being allocated to users.
Go into Communication, Public Numbers tab:
Here the the Admin creates a range of 5 public numbers:
The company default number is automatically set to the first DDI number of the first declared range. This can be changed at any time.
Remark on "Public number": also called installation number. Users without a public DDI assigned to them, when doing external calls, are seen as calling from this number which can be called back. This number can be assigned to a user of the company as any other.
