Manage Member Roles in a Bubble

Need help managing a Bubble? Give specific rights to certain Members.

Members promoted to Organizer or Owner will be able e.g to start Web Conferences in your absence or invite new participants.

Promote or Demote Members

Warning: Transfer the ownership of a Bubble require the Owner role in the Bubble. The member receiving the ownership must already have the role of Organizer.

You can give roles to certain members. These members will then be able to help you in the management of your Bubble or take over in your absence.

Tips: Get into the habit of systematically designating a Member as Organizer so as not to block the project in your absence.

Each role gives access to different functionalities in Bubbles. The following table summarizes all the possibilities offered for each type of Member.

What actions can be performed by the different roles?

Bubble Owner

The default Owner is the user who created the Bubble. He can then transfer ownership to another organizer (there can be only one Bubble owner).

Bubble Organizer

Organizers are promoted by the Owner or by another Organizer. They can also be demoted to Basic Membership by another Owner or Organizer.

Rainbow Room Equipment

Basic Member

Members are users who have accepted an invitation to join a Bubble. Members who have not yet accepted the invitation will be identified with the icon .
