Please add a new message count indicator to Rainbow icon in Android. This is standard feature in Android, utilized by every email and messaging app today. Rainbow on iPhone supports this as well.

  This becomes available with Android 8 OS (Oreo).

   

  For information:

  Android 5 market share is around 23%, decreasing

  Android 6 market share is around 26%, decreasing

  Android 7 market share is around 32%, increasing

  Android 8 market share is around 5%, increasing fast
