iOS notification sound too short and too quiet

In the latest iOS, Apple changed to notification sound to something that is barely audible. We use Rainbow for on-call notifications when we are sleeping and it has to wake us up. Emergency doesn't work as we don't want to wake everyone up - just the person on-call. Pushover is a notification app that allows for a custom sound from a list or a sound you upload to be played - any way this could be implemented?  Also, Pushover can *require* an acknowledgement to stop a notification - this would be helpful, but not necessary.   Hi! A co-worker noticed that if you enable beta loads, upgrade to iOS17.4, you can change the default sound now.
