Citrix Support for the Rainbow Application
PlanejadaHi,
In the feature list and also support confirms citrix is not support for the rainbow application.
Could you consider this request and make Rainbow supported for Citrix?
Thanks.

Dear Esli,
We have planned to start first tests with the Citrix environment (XenApp/XenDesktop) end of Q3 this year. According to the test results and audio/video quality, we could release the support of this environment in Q4.
Note that all audio/video flows will pass through the Citrix infrastructure, there will be no optimization.
Best Regards,

Hello Patrick,
I recommend you to create a new Feature Suggestion to talk about the implementation of the "TS" and "RDP".
To ensure a good follow-up to these suggestions, we must keep one request by post. Esli's initial request addressed the Citrix Support for the Rainbow Application.
Thanks for your understanding,

HI Christophe
2 month Ago you said : "web app can be used in this environment with Remote Call Control capabilities."
i'm not totally agree with you, but maybe I'm making a mistake.
because in case you receive a call in WEBRTC from another Rainbow Client, I don't know how we can take the call in RCC mode
for me we can't take this call with RCC. so the voice flow through the thin client.
what do you think it ?
thank you for your opinion

Hello,
i am also interested in the results of the test or better in a support of citrix environments. I have several customers who use rainbow-essential licences in citrix as an unsupported version, just to try. It would be fine to offer them a supported enterprise licence.
Best regards
Ralf

Hello,
what is the current status here?
I have a customer support ticket where I got the info today, that Citrix is not supported.
Maybe ALE should consider, that especially big customers use Citrix and they will probably buy many licenses...
My current customer has more than 7000 employees.
@Christophe MUNINGER But if you say Rainbow is 2 years later still not supported on Citrix we are disappointed a bit.

Christian
