Android SDK Permissions

Dear Rainbow community,

I am integrating rainbow within an Android App and regarding permissions:

Reviewing the Android SDK manual regarding permissions it is stated that should be added to the manifest the following permission:

<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.MEDIA_CONTENT_CONTROL" />

In Android studio this gives a warning/error indicating:

Permission is only granted to system apps - Permissions with the protection level signature, privileged or signatureOrSystem are only granted to system apps. If an app is a regular non-system app, it will never be able to use these permissions.

Is it really needed? Need the manual to be updated?

  Hi,

   

  We don't use this permission in Rainbow client, so I guess the documentation must be updated and this permission removed.
