Are there plans to support other Android TV devices/smart TVs for the Rainbow Rooms solution?

  What is the status of other devices being approved or certified. The Nvidia is still very difficult to find if not impossible.

  Our intention is to expand the ALE catalogue of certified devices as well as the white list of audio/camera devices and Android TV box engine. The white list will be published in the helpcenter in the Feature List or in articles such as https://support.openrainbow.com/hc/en-us/articles/360010827420-How-to-Install-my-Rainbow-Room-Equipments-.
  So far, only the Android Nvidia Shield TV Pro has been validated. Difficult to buy, but not impossible ;-)

  We are also working on certifying other devices, such as https://www.airtel.in/xstream/box or https://www.elsys.com.br/streaming-box-4k/p . But these validation tests are not yet complete.

  We tested several other boxes, but without success mainly for performance reasons. Therefore we have started to work on a new way to bundle the various media streams, reducing the performance requirement of the box itself. In the meantime, we continue to recommand the NVidia Shield pro as the solution to run the Rainbow Room software.
